Even though it still isn’t very easy to get your hands on a new PlayStation 5, it hasn’t stopped Sony from releasing several new colour schemes on its flagship console. It now has more customisation options than ever before. In the coming months, Sony will launch a new PlayStation 5 Gray Camouflage collection that consists of new matching removable plates for the console and the DualSense controller and Pulse headset.

“Bring a fresh, unique aesthetic into play with the new PlayStation 5 Gray Camouflage Collection coming to the PS5 family of accessories. Adding to the previously released galaxy-inspired color lineup, the Gray Camouflage Collection features a matching set of accessories with the DualSense wireless controller, PS5 console covers for both the PS5 with the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and the PS5 Digital Edition, and Pulse 3D wireless headset,” Sony said of the new accessories.
“The PlayStation design team reimagined our camouflage pattern to reflect a fresher, more contemporary feel. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the iconic PlayStation Shapes have been subtly incorporated into the pattern.”
In the US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, the controller will be available exclusively on the PlayStation Direct website(opens in new tab) for two weeks before being rolled out at other participating retailers starting October 28. Meanwhile, the PS5 console covers in Gray Camouflage will be available exclusively on PlayStation Direct in these locations.
Last month Sony announced that its much sought-after console would be seeing a price increase around the world, with the exception of America. In a statement, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan said the PS5 price hike was “a necessity given the current global economic environment and its impact on SIE’s business.”
