The newest flagship from Samsung is set to be launched in January 2021, much earlier than usual for the Galaxy S flagship range. As is usual, a slew of leaks has emerged months before the launch, including specs and features.

There will be three Galaxy S21 models launched in 2021, similar to what we saw with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. According to the leaks, it will include a standard model, a Plus and another Ultra model. The S21 will have a 6.2-inch display, the Plus will be 6.7 inches and the Ultra will reportedly have a 6.8-inch display.
It is expected that all three phones will run the new flagship chipsets – either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100. It will launch with Android 11, with Samsung’s proprietary One UI 3.1 skin running on top of the Google software.
Interestingly, the biggest, highest end Galaxy S21 Ultra will support the S Pen (usually found on the Note range) but it won’t be included in the box. It won’t have a docking slot in the device itself, either.
The camera setups will be different throughout the range – something that has become the norm over the last 12 months. The S21 and S21 Plus will have the same setup – a 12MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 64MP telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will have a 108MP main lens, a 10MP 3x optical telephoto lens, another optical telephoto lens at 10MP 10x zoom, and finally a 12MP ultrawide lens (most likely the same as on the standard models).
The colours available for the S21 are expected to include Phantom Violet, Phantom Pink, Phantom Gray, and Phantom White; the Plus will come in Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, and Phantom Violet; and the Ultra will only be available in Phantom Silver and Phantom Black.
We have no idea what it will cost yet, although we aren’t expecting any increases over the current models.
