Apple has introduced the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, featuring larger screens, a powerful A18 Pro chip, enhanced camera capabilities, and improved battery life.

The iPhone 16 Pro boasts a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max offers a 6.9-inch screen. Both models feature a thinner design and come in four colours: black, white, natural, and desert titanium.
Powered by the A18 Pro chip with a 16-core neural engine, the iPhone 16 Pro lineup delivers impressive performance and supports Apple Intelligence features. The A18 Pro offers a 15% performance boost over the iPhone 15 Pro and features a 20% faster six-core GPU.
The iPhone 16 Pro features a 48MP Fusion camera, a new 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP 5x telephoto camera with a tetra prism design. The Camera Control button, introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro lineup, allows for easy camera adjustments. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro supports 4K video capture at 120fps and offers post-capture playback speed adjustments.
Apple has also enhanced the audio hardware on the iPhone 16 Pro, featuring four studio-quality microphones and spatial audio recording capabilities. Voice Memos will soon allow users to layer tracks over recordings.
The iPhone 16 Pro lineup boasts impressive battery life, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max offering up to 33 hours of video playback and the iPhone 16 Pro offering up to 27 hours. Both models support MagSafe charging speeds of up to 25W and are Qi2-certified.
The iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999 with 128GB of storage, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at $1,199 with 256GB of storage. Preorders will begin on September 13th, with availability on September 20th.
Apple is focusing on AI with its Apple Intelligence features, which will be available in beta in October. The company showcased several AI-powered tools at WWDC, including an upgraded Siri and integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
