After many years of teasing the new series, HBO has finally released the first real footage from the upcoming House of the Dragon, the first Game of Thrones spin-off series. It is a prequel to the events of the original blockbuster series based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood, a book that explains and explores the history of the Targaryen family, renowned for their mastery of dragons.

The events in this story takes place about 200 years before that of A Song of Fire and Ice, which Game of Thrones was based on. Unfortunately, the teaser is just that – a tease. It doesn’t give us a lot of information about the plot, rather choosing just to unveil the premise and direction of the show.
The cast of the show is strong, including Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Sonoya Mizuno, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, and Olivia Cooke.
