There aren’t a lot of good Android tablet options out there. The majority are horrible, cheap, sometimes even unbranded options. At the high-end there are some decent options (like the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro), but the budget Android market mostly a barren landscape. HMD Global wants to change that with the newly announced Nokia T20 Android tablet, which could be a decent option at only $250.

The Nokia T20 has a 10.4-inch display with a resolution of 1,200 x 2,000 pixels (or just above 1080p). It is a surprisingly compact package for such a sizable display. Unlike many of the other options in this price point, the Nokia T20 has an aluminium unibody chassis, giving it a premium look (especially compared to similarly priced tablets).
To achieve this price with a premium design, HMD has had to make some compromises with the internals. The Nokia T20 is running the Unisoc Tiger T610 chipset, which is already a bit long in the tooth but should have enough grunt to do all the basics a buyer of this type of tablet needs. If you haven’t heard of this chipset before, it is similarly powered to the MediaTek Helio P35.
There are two models available – one with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and another with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also comes with a microSD card slot that is capable of housing additional storage expansion up to 256GB. The Nokia T20 has a massive 8,200mAh battery, which is likely to offer multiple days in battery life.
It has a 5MP selfie camera at the front, with a standard camera at the back capable of taking 8MP photos. The device also has stereo speakers for content consumption, but also wired audio capability with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
