We are only weeks away from the launch of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S21, and ever more information about the anticipated smartphone is being revealed. New leaks have revealed the colour options of the Galaxy S21, and we also have our first proper look at the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
We are expecting invites to the upcoming Unpacked event with a matter of days, but new images published by infamous tech leaker Evan Blass gives us our best look at the new range of devices yet.
The Galaxy S21 will launch with four colour options – white, pink, purple and grey. The smaller model of the range is expected to revert back to a flat front panel, as opposed to the waterfall screen designs that we’ve seen over the last several years. It will have a very similarly sized 6.2-inch AMOLED display, sure to be of the same quality as the current model.
It will come with a 12MP primary camera (likely to be the same as on the S20), a 12MP ultra-wide and a 64MP telephoto lens. It seems it will be an iterative year for the camera advancements unless we start looking at the Galaxy S21 Ultra (down below). The Galaxy S21 will ship with the Snapdragon 888, and in some markets its proprietary Exynos 2100 flagship chipset. The Galaxy S21 Plus will be basically the same device, simply larger.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra looks like a very different phone on the back (as sis last year’s model). It is only available in black and white, but don’t let that convince you that the device looks boring. The back looks extremely busy thanks to the strange looking quad-camera array. The leaks don’t give us any clues as to whether it will support, or even house, the S-Pen as previously reported.
The biggest model will have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a very big battery to power that behemoth, and the latest WiFi 6e standard. What do you think about the design of the Galaxy S21 Ultra? Let us know in the comments below.
