It has been a long time since we last saw a Dragon Age title. The last one, Dragon Age: Inquisition, was launched at the end of 2014. Finally, BioWare has released a new teaser trailer of a new Dragon Age title, although we don’t have an intended launch date.

The teaser was showed at The Game Awards 2020. There is no title for the new game yet, with the title screen only saying Dragon Age, and the company has only referred to it as “The Next Dragon Age.” The trailer doesn’t tell us too much, only speaking of lore and backstory, with no gameplay footage.
The narrator of the trailer is an old fan favourite, Varric Tethras, who accompanied the band of warriors in both Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age: Inquisition. “It’s time for a new hero,” Varric says. “No magic hand, no ancient prophecy. The kind of person they’ll never see coming.”
