Facebook Live Video set to roll out globally

Now available on US iPhones, Facebook Live Video is set to roll out globally on both iOS and Android.

New challenger to the likes of Twitter’s Periscope is about to hit the market; Facebook Live Video is set to release within the coming months, and is now available to US iPhone users.
Facebook Live Video allows users of the social network to live stream their activities across the social network, and was first trialed by popular celebrities, namely, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

The service is now available to all iPhone users based in the US, and an Android release is expected to reach the Google Play Store within coming weeks.
Users on the social network will now be able to subscibe to popular streamers in a similar capacity to how Periscope functions.
