Back in February Google released a beta version of Google Now running on its Chrome browser. This week Google has officially brought the build out of beta and will soon be available for all to use within their browser on both Windows and Mac.
The new feature can be activated by simply signing into Chrome with the same Google credentials you used on your Android or iOS device with Google Now. All the contextual-information cards that already appear on devices can now appear on your desktop browser. The cards can reveal anything from sports scores to weather updates to travel plans.
This system is also fully functional in two directions. If you search something on your browser the applicable card will also appear on your mobile device. I haven‘t been able to use it as of yet, so hopefully the functionality will roll out in our region soon.
