BlackBerry rises as Q10 to sell "ten of millions" says Heins

According to BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins, the smartphone manufacturer will be selling  “œtens of millions“ of its new Q10 smartphone, the second of two devices to run the BB10 OS launched in January.
BlackBerry has since climbed to its highest level in more than a month with shares rising to 3.9 percent to $15.61 at the close.  This is the highest price since 21 st March. Add to this that stock has increased by 32 percent this year and it could mean the beginning of a significant comeback for the once failing smartphone maker.
Heins made this statement in an interview with Bloomberg Television on Monday also commenting that “œWe have very, very good first signs already after the launch in the U.K. This is going into the installed base of more than 70 million BlackBerry users so we have quite some expectations.”
While the z10 (review here) offers BlackBerry users a touchscreen, the Q10, launched this month, intends to draw sales from users who prefer a physical keyboard and are looking to upgrade from an older device.
