According to a rumour reported by WMPoweruser, Microsoft will be releasing Windows Phone 7.8, the latest update from its WP7 OS, this Wednesday 28th November.
While the report offers limited details it does reveal that the update will see the addition of new accent colours, new start screen, the ability to keep Wi-Fi active when the device is in suspended mode and Bing lock screen wallpaper.
Devices running Windows Phone 7 won‘t be receiving an update for Windows Phone 8, however Windows Phone 7.8 will be bringing some of its features to older devices.
