Key Features:

  • Smaller and Lighter: The Legion Go S features an 8-inch 120Hz OLED display (down from 8.8 inches) and a lighter chassis, weighing in at 1.6 pounds compared to the original’s 1.9 pounds.
  • Powerful Performance: Powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 Go or Z1 Extreme APUs, up to 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage, the Legion Go S delivers robust gaming performance.
  • Dual Operating System Support: Available in both Windows 11 and SteamOS versions, offering users flexibility in their gaming experience.
  • Enhanced Controls: Features Hall Effect analog sticks, a redesigned D-pad, and customizable shoulder buttons.
  • Improved Software: The Legion Space app has been refined, providing a more streamlined gaming experience and enhanced performance settings.

The Legion Go S prioritizes portability with its smaller form factor and improved ergonomics. The removal of detachable controllers and the inclusion of a kickstand contributes to a more compact and travel-friendly design.

The Windows 11 version, equipped with a 1920×1200 resolution, delivers smooth gameplay and responsive performance. The SteamOS version, while nearly identical to the Steam Deck in terms of user interface, exhibits slightly improved responsiveness due to the Legion Go S’s more powerful APU.

The Windows 11 version of the Legion Go S will be available later this month, starting at $730. The SteamOS version will follow in May with a more affordable starting price of $499.
