The launch of the V30 Series marks a significant milestone for Vivo as it becomes the first device to be available across all four major mobile operators in South Africa—Vodacom, MTN, Telkom, and Cell C. The V30 model features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1260 x 2800 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The near-bezel-less screen and 3D curve enhance the device’s visual appeal. Additionally, Vivo offers a 365-day screen damage warranty for purchases made within the first month.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, the V30 includes 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. Vivo supports the V30 with up to 12GB of virtual memory, enabling the operation of up to 48 apps in the background. The smartphone runs on Android 14 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 customizations.

The V30 houses a robust 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging power, promising a full recharge in 48 minutes via USB-C 2.0. The battery comes with a 4-year guarantee, including free replacement within that period as long as there is no misuse.

The V30’s standout feature is its camera setup. The phone sports a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP sensor. An innovative Aura Light Portrait System with temperature adjustment enhances the rear cameras, replacing traditional flash for superior mobile photography. The front of the phone features a 50MP selfie camera, complemented by a custom retouching algorithm for improved portrait photos.

The Vivo V30 is available in Waving Aqua and Noble Black colours. The V30e model is similar in design but differs in terms of hardware specifications. The V30e features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage capacity, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Vivo’s launch of the V30 Series demonstrates its commitment to customer care, emphasizing the quality of its products and the experience it offers. Through its latest smartphones, Vivo seeks to establish itself as a prominent brand in the South African market and expand its presence further.
