Macbook Air M3 launches in South Africa from R25,999

South African retailers have introduced Apple’s latest M3-powered MacBook Air models, with prices starting at R25,999. These brand-new MacBook Air variants come in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, priced at R25,999 and R29,999 respectively.

During its unveiling, Apple highlighted the M3 chip’s remarkable performance, boasting up to 60% faster speeds than the previous M1 chip from 2020 and a staggering 13 times faster performance compared to the Intel-based MacBook Air.

The M3 processor offers impressive features including up to a 10-core GPU, an 8-core CPU, and the option for up to 16GB of unified memory, all of which are available in South Africa.

For the 13-inch models, buyers can choose between configurations featuring an 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU or an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU chipset. The former option offers 8GB of unified memory and 256GB of storage, while the latter allows for 8GB or 16GB of unified memory and includes a standard 512GB storage option.

The 15-inch model exclusively offers the 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU chipset. Customers have the option of 256GB or 512GB storage with the 8GB unified memory model, while the 16GB unified memory model is only available with 512GB storage.

Both models feature a stunning Liquid Retina display, support for dual additional displays, and an impressive battery life of up to 18 hours.

Available in midnight, starlight, space grey, and silver, the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models offer a choice of four sleek colour options.
