EcoFlow flagship solution Delta Pro Ultra can scale to 90kWh

EcoFlow has unveiled its latest home battery backup solution, the Delta Pro Ultra, at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. Dubbed a “smart hybrid whole house battery generator and backup,” this system is designed to draw power from various sources, including high or low-output solar panels, the grid, or a gas-powered generator (with caution due to environmental concerns). The Delta Pro Ultra offers substantial power storage, scaling up to 90kWh of batteries, enough to sustain essential home functions for up to a month.

Tailored for larger residences, the Delta Pro Ultra features a solar input capacity of 16.8kW, accommodating up to 42 400W panels simultaneously. The system’s flexibility extends to drawing additional power from the grid during periods of low energy costs. Output ranges from 7.2kW—suitable for powering a Central Air unit—to 21.6kW with additional equipment, sufficient for running key household appliances.

As a standalone solution, the Delta Pro Ultra is plug-and-play. For enhanced outputs and deeper home integration, users can opt for the Smart Home Panel 2, requiring professional installation. Despite its power, the system operates quietly at less than 2,000W to minimize noise disturbances for neighbours.

Available for order starting this week, the Delta Pro Ultra is priced at $4,999 for the inverter and battery during the first month. The Smart Home Panel 2 is sold separately at an additional $1,599. A bundled offer of both components is available for $6,399 until February 9, after which the prices will revert to the recommended retail prices of $5,799 (Ultra), $1,899 (Panel 2), and $7,499 (bundle).
