Vodacom has unveiled Enhance, an offering that empowers customers to enhance their existing contracts with additional features such as new smartphones, gaming consoles, and streaming subscriptions. This initiative aims to provide a personalized Vodacom package tailored to individual lifestyles.

Enhance simplifies billing by allowing customers to consolidate all their chosen products and services into a single unified bill, eliminating the need to manage multiple accounts. This offering is available not only to customers but also to their family and friends, offering flexibility with contract durations of 24 or 36 months.
Rishaad Tayob, Consumer Director at Vodacom South Africa, highlighted that Enhance reflects Vodacom’s commitment to adapting to the evolving lifestyle needs and behaviors of its customers. The platform enables customers to trade in old devices for contract upgrades or opt for new smartphones. It also offers a selection of pre-owned Apple smartphones referred to as “Good As New.”
Enhance customers gain access to financial and digital lifestyle services through VodaPay, providing access to discounts and rewards. Vodacom’s transition from a traditional telecommunications provider to a technology player is evident in Enhance, where customers can add various technological solutions, not limited to telecom services. These include plug-and-play Wi-Fi, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, gaming consoles, and fitness devices.
Tayob emphasized that Vodacom’s transformation aligns with their goal to offer a diverse range of technological solutions beyond the telecom market. Enhance subscribers can enrich their entertainment experiences with products like the latest Sony PlayStation or Microsoft Xbox, catering to gamers, while fitness enthusiasts can monitor their sports performance and health with the latest smart wearables.
Furthermore, customers who enjoy streaming content can seamlessly integrate popular services such as Netflix, Showmax, Prime, and Apple Music into their packages through the add-to-bill capability provided by Enhance. This comprehensive offering aims to meet the diverse needs and preferences of Vodacom customers, ensuring that they can customize their packages to suit their unique lifestyles.
