The new Zenbook Pro 16X is the flagship of the ASUS range, and is a beefy unit. It weighs 2.5kg and has a 16-inch 4K OLED display, certified by Dolby Vision and Pantone, with 60Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. It is NVIDIA Studio-rated with an RTX 3060 GPU, and comes with a new 12-gen Intel Core CPU, up to the i9-12900H flagship. It has a new cooling system, which will enable the system to burn through a 140W TDP without throttling, while generating just 40db in fan noise.

Following on from its Zenbook Pro Duo, which brought about the new laptop form factor, the most interesting device announced at the event is the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED. The OLED in its product name refers to a 14.5-inch, 2,8K, 120Hz OLED display up top, which is paired with a 12.7-inch ScreenPad Plus (the secondary lower display). ASUS says that the ScreenPad Plus is now brighter than its predecessor, with a better auto-tilt which improves cooling. Inside, you’ll be able to order a 12th-generation Core i9-12900H and pair it with an RTX 3050 Ti GPU.

As you move down the product range you get to the Vivobook series. These have also been updated with OLED displays. The Vivobook Pro models all get OLED displays, including the 14.5-, 15.6- and 16-inch sizes. They have the options of being spec’ed all the way up to a Core i9-12900H or Ryzen 8 6900HX, up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and up to 2TB SSD storage.
