Almost a year after being announced, The Razer Zephyr face mask is now available for purchase, with RGB in tow. You can buy the Zephyr either by itself for $100 or a $150 Starter Pack with three replacement filter kits. Individual replacements are $30.

It seems like the masks will be difficult to track down, however, as the website already lists some of the options as sold out.
Razer, being a gaming tech company first, is angling the Zephyr as high-end personal protection equipment – a kit for gamers. As is the case with many gaming hardware products, it is quite flashy. The RGB lighting and the transparent design is reminiscent of some PC parts, and it has a dual-fan active air filtration system with N95 filters. It also comes with a mobile app to allow the lighting to be customised.
Many have pondered why they would release this product, especially when it seems that the pandemic is working its way out of most parts in the world. That being said, there are still many places that require masks and its market will definitely mostly be the developed world where cases are still surging in some countries. It is also expected that most places in the world will still require masks to enter public or crowded spaces for a long time to come.
