Huaweilast week made a bold announcement which involves incorporating a ‘Seamless AI Life strategy’ in South Africa. Presented at the Huawei Better Together 2021 virtual event, the strategy promises to deliver an intelligent experience. The event was held by Huawei Consumer Business Group General Manager Jun Sun, alongside Chief Technology officer, Akhram Mohamed.
With smart devices now fast becoming important portals that provide users with intelligent experiences, the ‘all-connected’ intelligent era advent has come to the fore more than ever. As a result, consumers are now anticipating new, revolutionary experiences and Huawei is currently the only vendor that has the ability to provide an all-scenario experience.
The tech giant’s strategy for the hyper-connected era on our shores is mainly focused on smartphones, wearables and PC’s. Huawei has remained committed to developing these offerings across South Africa, which closely aligns with the company’s global vision of delivering an intelligent experience to consumers in Mzansi across all scenarios, including health, fitness and overall lifestyle.
Speaking at the company’s event, Sun Jun, General Manager of Huawei Consumer Business Group South Africa, reflected on the company’s performance in the region: “Our journey from our beginnings to where we are now in South Africa has been nothing short of phenomenal. South Africa is one of the most important pioneering markets for Huawei. We are committed to continue using our technology to improve the lives of South Africans around the country.”
Akhram Mohamed, Huawei’s Chief Technology Officer, also shared his insights on the company’s strategy: “The promise of technology has always been envisioned as a smooth and seamless process between your devices and the services they interact with. We at Huawei are positioning ourselves to be at the forefront of delivering just that with our Seamless AI Life Strategy.”
Huawei also used the event to outline its goal for our market, which aims to create an all-scenario intelligent lifestyle for consumers. Huawei’s strategy is made up of three approaches, specifically primary portals (smartphones), secondary portals (tablets, PCs, wearables, speakers, infotainment systems, etc.) and IoT devices. Together, Huawei aims to form and be the foundation for the all-connected digital world, a vision the company hopes to see unfold in the country.
