Xiaomi has unveiled the all-metal Redmi Pro; the intended flagship of its entry-level Redmi lineup which packs dual-camera smarts.

Up until now, dual-camera functionality has been a feature reserved for the higher-end of the smartphone market; one need only think of the LG G5 or Huawei P9. Now, Xiaomi has entered the fray with the Redmi Pro; the flagship of its entry-level Redmi line.
The Redmi Pro arrives sporting not only a dual-camera setup but further incorporates a striking all-metal design and an OLED display.

As is popular in Asian markets, the Redmi Pro will come equipped with dual-SIM support, and consumers who don’t fancy that will be able to trade a second SIM in for Micro SD support instead.
The Redmi Pro will retail for $225 USD at its entry level, followed by price points of $255 for the 64GB model, and $300 USD for the 128GB iteration.
Given that Xiaomi’s previous Redmi offerings have been brought to South Africa by Mobiles in Africa (MIA), we could yet see the Pro land on our shores within the coming months.
