An early iPhone 7 case has seemingly confirmed rumours that Apple’s next iPhone will arrive without a headphone jack and will instead carry stereo speakers.
The iPhone 7 isn’t expected until this September, but a new leak surrounding an iPhone 7 case has seemingly confirmed one of the most controversial rumours surrounding Apple’s next iPhone: it won’t carry a headphone jack.
The image, which arrives courtesy of French leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, depicts a larger camera cutout, which could potentially make room for dual lenses.

Further, the lack of a headphone cutout is instead replaced by two openings for what would traditionally be speaker placements on the device’s bottom panel, indicating that the iPhone 7 could arrive with stereo speakers.
Largely, and perhaps predictably, the iPhone 7 case largely resembles the design of the iPhone 6s.

Recently, rumours have posited that the iPhone 7 – or the iPhone Pro – could feature a dual sense system which could offer brighter and clearer images.
