According to new reports, the adoption of Windows 10 Mobile as officially exceeded Windows Phone 8 usage.
Despite the small size of its market share, Microsoft’s Windows 10 is still enjoying a healthy growth rate, with Windows 10 mobile usage officially exceeding that of Windows Phone 8.
To clarify, Windows10 Mobile hasn’t exactly bested its processer – Windows Phone 8.1 enjoys the largest usership in the Windows Phone market, with Windows 10 Mobile now behind it as the second largest share.

For the month of January alone, the userbase of Windows 10 Mobile increased by 0.7% alone – which is, when compared, a far wider adoption rate than the slow uptake of Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Further, the report revealed that the Nokia Lumia 520 is the post popular Windows Phone device, followed by the Lumia 535 which we reviewed last year.
Meanwhile, the recently released Lumia 950 and 950 XL haven’t yet approached the top 10 model list, citing a low production yield and, further, poor mainstream adoption.
