The Chinese company have announced that a Windows 10 version of the Mi Pad 2 tablet has been officially slated for release in February.
A Windows 10 based Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has been officially slated for a January release following the unveiling of the Android 5.1 based Mi Pad 2 in November last year.
The news comes as a followup to Xiaomi’s promise last year that the company would release a Windows 10 version of its tablet within two months after first release.

Further, with the news that rival Huawei could be producing a Surface-challenger Matebook, Xiaomi’s entry into the Windows tablet market seems timely.
The Mi Pad 2 includes a 7.9 inch display with a resolution of 2,048×1,536 pixels and is ppowered by an Intel Atom X5 chipset.
Further, the tablet comes equipped with a USB Type C connection, 8 and 5 megapixel primary and secondary cameras respectively, as well as 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 6,190mAh battery.
The Windows 10 Mi Pad 2 will retail for an expected $200 USD, which is the same price as the Android version of the tablet.
