One of the questions I get asked most as a technology journalist is “œWhat is the best smartphone on the market?“ In my mind, though, there is a much better question to ask. Everyone has different needs when it comes to their smartphones and I believe that must be reflected in their choice of new hardware. So, I think a better question is: “If you were to upgrade right now (with your own money), which smartphone would you buy?”
Obviously budget is one of the biggest considerations, but along with that is needs and wants. If you were to be upgrading, to which smartphone would it be right now, and for what reason(s), compared to what you currently have?
