Samsung Galaxy O7 leaked ahead of release

We thought that we had seen the last of major Samsung releases for the year once the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ were released, with their focus squarely on the impending release of the Galaxy S7. Well, not quite, as Samsung will launch another Galaxy smartphone under a completely new moniker.
In case you weren‘t happy with the Galaxy A, E and J smartphones covering every market segment twice over, it seems the Galaxy O family will also soon be upon us.
An O5 model, likely to go official by the end of the year under the Galaxy Grand On name, has recently had its specifications revealed by a preliminary benchmark, and now, the O7 or Mega On follows suit. The Galaxy O7 will be slightly more impressive in the specs department, of course, but there isn‘t anything really exciting for the tech purist here.
Compared to the Galaxy J7, the unreleased phablet is sharper around the corners, and the vertical screen bezels also seem a tad slimmer. It‘s possible the frame is made of metal, while the rear cover is definitely plastic. Furthermore, they share a lot of specs, including 720p displays, Android 5.1 software, 13 and 5MP cameras, and 3,000 mAh batteries. In all likelihood it will also sport a 5.5-inch display (once again, like the Galaxy J7).

It seems that the O7 will also include a modest quad-core Snapdragon 410 chip, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, which will drive the price down compared to the J7.
Do any of the lesser Samsung devices get your excited? Let us know in the comments below.
