If you can‘t wait to see what Nokia is planning with its low-end Android device, you won‘t need to wait much longer. Project Normandy, which will be known as the Nokia X when launched, will be released at Mobile World Congress this month.
There is no news on the hardware itself, or what exactly we can expect from the device. What we do know is that Nokia will most likely create a forked version of Android to strip out the Google services and laden the device with Nokia and Microsoft‘s software services. This is what Amazon did with the Kindle Fire, and it seemed to work for them.
We will need to see how it works for Nokia, but they certainly have a mountain to climb. Would you consider an Android Nokia phone?
