iTunes Radio streaming in Australia. Where next?

It was only a matter of time before iTunes Radio became available outside of the United States. The first country to receive the music streaming service outside of the US is Australia. Listeners on the island nation can get the same personalized radio streams as their American counterparts, and they can get rid of all the ads if they fork out $35 AUD per year for an iTunes Match subscription.
It seems that the service will become available to the UK, New Zealand and Canada next, with no word on further expansion plans. Other European countries are surely to follow shortly thereafter. We have no idea if Apple is planning to bring iTunes Radio to Africa at all, but as soon as we do we will report on it.
The Cupertino company touts iTunes Radio as offering “œthousands of new songs every week, as well as serving up exclusive music from new and popular artists before you hear them anywhere else.“ It said more than 11 million people tried out the service in its first five days of availability following its launch in September, though hasn‘t offered any relevant statistics since then. However, with the iTunes store known to have around 500 million users, there is obviously huge growth potential for iTunes Radio once it starts landing in other countries. Pandora currently has 200 million registered users and 76 million monthly active users.
