The Eufy E20 robot vacuum can also be a handheld vacuum

The new Eufy 3-in-1 E20 robot vacuum aims to redefine versatility in home cleaning by offering more than just autonomous floor cleaning. This innovative device transforms from a robot vacuum into a manual stick or handheld vacuum, thanks to its detachable motor, dust bin, and battery unit, which can be paired with various cleaning accessories.

The E20 is available for preorder today at $499.99 on Eufy’s website, including a $50 discount. Starting February 10, it will be available at its full price of $549.99 through retailers like Amazon and Best Buy.

In robot mode, the E20 delivers 8,000Pa of suction power and offers up to 180 minutes of runtime on a single charge. The battery recharges fully in 2.5 hours. While it doesn’t have mopping capabilities, its spinning brush features “anti-tangle comb teeth” to minimize hair tangles, similar to the Eufy X10 Pro Omni.

Instead of cameras, the E20 relies on three strategically placed lasers (on the top, front, and side) to detect obstacles as small as 15mm, even in low light. When the battery runs low, the E20 autonomously returns to its base station, where its 350mL dustbin is emptied into a bag with a 75-day capacity.

For handheld cleaning, the E20’s suction power increases dramatically to 30,000Pa, making it ideal for furniture and other areas out of the robot’s reach. It can also function as a manual stick vacuum for targeted messes or cleaning areas where the robot isn’t used.

The E20 includes built-in storage for a crevice tool, while additional accessories like a powered brush head can be stored on an optional wall-mounted hanger. This hanger can be discreetly placed in a closet, keeping the E20’s compact charging dock clutter-free and visually unobtrusive.
