Imagine an AI assistant that seamlessly works across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. That’s the future Apple envisions with Apple Intelligence. This suite of AI features includes Writing Tools, which can summarize emails, draft replies, and even help craft creative text formats. Siri is also getting smarter. You can now issue voice commands (or type!) to have Siri perform actions within apps, leveraging your personal data for a more contextual experience. Apple Intelligence arrives this summer with the Sequoia beta, but keep in mind you’ll need an M1 chip or later to take advantage of it.

Finally! With macOS Sequoia, you can take full control of your iPhone directly from your Mac. See and respond to phone notifications, drag and drop text or images between devices, and enjoy full audio control. The best part? Your iPhone stays locked and secure while mirrored, even in StandBy mode.

Surfing the web just got more efficient. Safari in macOS Sequoia is getting a major overhaul with features like Highlights. This machine learning-powered tool unveils key information on webpages, saving you time from having to scan through text. Reader Mode also gets enhanced with summaries and tables of contents, while a new Viewer mode gives you full control of on-page video content, including Picture-in-Picture functionality.

The days of struggling to remember passwords are over. The Keychain in macOS Sequoia evolves into a powerful Passwords app. This app can store a wide range of credentials, including Wi-Fi passwords, passkeys, verification codes, and even shared passwords.  The best part? It syncs seamlessly across your Apple devices (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, visionOS) and even Windows machines with iCloud for Windows.

Multitasking just got easier. macOS Sequoia finally brings native, user-friendly window tiling. No more battling with third-party utilities to organize your workspace efficiently.

Apple isn’t forgetting about gamers. Beloved titles like Resident Evil 2/Biohazard, Control, and the new World of Warcraft expansion, The War Within, are joining the Mac gaming library. Developers also get some love with a major update to the Game Porting Toolkit. This update makes it easier for them to bring games to your Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

macOS Sequoia runs on all Apple Silicon Macs and select Intel-based models (2017 iMac Pro, 2018 Mac Mini/MacBook Pro, 2019 Mac Pro/iMac). Keep in mind that iPhone mirroring requires either Apple Silicon or a T2 security chip (present in the listed Intel Macs).
