- Asus Vivobook Pro 16X Review: Practical, Pro, Pleasing
The Asus Vivobook Pro 16X OLED aims to be everything as a professional content creation tool. Although its design isn’t the most exciting among its contemporaries, what it lacks in styling is claws back in portability, packing a lot of punch into a thin and lightweight package. It sits firmly ensconced in the middle of the new Asus laptop range, all with new internals and displays.
It comes with a powerful 11th-Gen Intel Core i7, a dedicated GPU in the form of the GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, and a lovely Pantone validated OLED display. In our Asus Vivobook Pro 16X OLED review we find out if the whole is more than the sum of its impressive parts.

- Vivo Y76 5G Review: Stylish, but is there substance?
It’s not often that a new company can enter an established, saturated market and do well. However, in South Africa there has been a massive gap left by the removal of a dominant Huawei, due to Google Mobile Services no longer being available on its devices. It has opened the door for other Chinese brands to fill that gap, including the likes of vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi. In our vivo Y76 5G review, we try to establish whether this device is good enough to take up the mantle of mid-range supremacy.
Having 5G capabilities in a mid-range device might be important to some, but we don’t believe it is a major selling point due to the immaturity of our 5G networks. So let’s take a more holistic view of the device and see how it stands on its own merits.

- Instax Link Wide Review: Instantly bigger fun
Fujifilm has a wide range of instant printers and cameras available, but most of them support the ‘mini’ photo format, where the prints are basically the size of a credit card. This mobile printer uses film that is twice the size of the more common mini devices, and gives users some more features and customisation options. In our in-depth review of the Instax Link Wide we take a look at the larger format’s picture quality and how it compares.

- Acer Aspire Vero Review: Environmentally Elevated
Sustainability and environmental awareness are more prominent in the tech world than ever before – many flagship phones are ditching chargers to lower electronic waste (allegedly), packaging of many tech products are made from recycled and recyclable materials, and rare metals used in electronics are recycled more than ever. Acer is taking this idea a step further with the Acer Aspire Vero – a laptop that incorporates a bit of trash, ocean plastic and other recycled materials in building the shell.
While trash might be part of its design, the resulting laptop is anything but. It has solid performance, is easily upgradeable for further sustainability and has a truly unique look and feel in a world boringly similar netbooks. In our Acer Aspire Vero review we explore whether the green credentials elevate it to a worthy desktop replacement.

- Asus Zenbook Pro 16X Review: Not only the keyboard is tilting
One thing we truly appreciate about Asus laptops are their varied design and form factors. The company isn’t afraid of doing something different, and the same is true with the Asus Zenbook Pro 16X. It features a keyboard that rises up at a steep angle when you open the lid and RGB lights underneath each side that flash on various system activities. It also includes the Asus Dial, which is a rotary touch device allowing refined control over the system and supported applications.
Like some of the other interesting Asus laptops we’ve reviewed, like the Zenbook Pro Duo, the Zenbook Pro 16X is has many interesting features and could be a perfect creator tool for professionals, while also being able to serve as a gaming machine. In our Asus Zenbook Pro 16X Review, we explore the unique tilting keyboard, interesting features and shortcomings.
