6 Android games from female game designers and women-led studios

Women’s Month is here and staying with that programme is Alcatel who have come through with a couple of female inspired Android games. Now it’s no secret that the general perception is the world of gaming is dominated by teenage boys, unless you’ve been living under a rock or something, you’ll know that that’s long outdated. In fact, with 48% of mobile gamers being women, the future of video gaming looks increasingly female. And while some companies in the games development business have a reputation for exclusion and sexism, we’re seeing this picture change as more and more women join the industry.

Ahead of Women’s Day (9 August), below are some games that were produced by female-led studios and female game designers, directors, and/or artists recommended by Alcatel.
