Sony has added some controller features to the PlayStation Remote app on Android, available for devices running Android 12. You can now connect a DualSense controller and use it to play PlayStation 5 games remotely.

They have also added some features for the previous generation DualShock 4 controller with the app. There’s now support for the touchpad, motion sensor and rumble features, as well as a battery indicator. Although those features are only available to those on Android 12, the controller is compatible with Android 10 and 11 as well.

The new expansion of PS5 Remote Play comes at an excellent time, as there are already plenty of games to enjoy, with some big hitters on their way soon. In the not-too-distant future, you’ll be able to flick seamlessly from something like The Last of Us 2 or Ghost of Tsushima straight to God of War Ragnarok or Horizon Forbidden West.
