Huawei is continually pressing ahead with its charge of building its own app ecosystem housed under its AppGallery. Just the other day the tech giant confirmed discover.film as coming pre-installed on its Huawei Video app. Adding to that and with more than 400 million active users worldwide, Huawei’s AppGallery is expanding to feature new and more exciting content.
Additional apps are constantly being introduced on the AppGallery with the main aim of catering to the diverse needs of the growing consumer demand. The Huawei AppGallery has recently announced new additions that will offer users more to explore:
SARS Mobile eFiling
The process of paying taxes can be taxing, but it is the right thing to do. Thanks to mobile technology, gone are the days of having to queue all day long at a local SARS office to file your tax return. SARS has designed an app, SARS Mobile eFiling, to assist taxpayers with completing, submitting, and viewing their annual income tax return with ease and securely, on a smartphone or tablet.
The app also features a tax calculator. Now that tax season is upon us, it’s good to take advantage of this new addition to the HUAWEI AppGallery and add the SARS Mobile eFiling app to your app collection.
Discovery
As a multifaceted organisation offering diverse products that cater to different aspects of your life, from health to financial investments, the Discovery app is a convenient, centralised platform where Discovery members can easily manage and keep track of things pertaining to their health plan details, financial portfolios, insurance policies, Vitality points and more.
On the app, users can manage their Discovery Health, Discovery Vitality, Discovery Card, Discovery Insure, Discovery Life and Discovery Invest products. Now featured on HUAWEI AppGallery, the Debonairs Pizza app will ensure pizza lovers are always able to order from any local Debonairs Pizza restaurant and have their food delivered to their doorstep.
Bolt
E-hailing service platform Bolt has now come on board the HUAWEI AppGallery as a travel partner, bringing HUAWEI users low-cost rides to their destinations. Bolt operates in all major cities and towns in South Africa.
Status Saver
Keeping up with other people’s lives on social media platforms is part of most people’s daily routine. We enjoy living in the moment and capturing those moments for an audience. Unfortunately, as statuses on various social networking platforms often exist for only a limited period of 24 hours, it means you may miss out on something interesting that was posted.
HUAWEI AppGallery now has an app available for saving statuses onto a device, called Status Saver. There is no longer a need to ask someone to directly share what they posted. In just three quick steps, the desired status video or image can be saved using Status Saver.

A cool and convenient app that enables dual app activity has also landed on HUAWEI AppGallery. There’s still some way to go but Huawei is putting in the work through various efforts and this can only be great news not only for its customers but also the industry as a whole in seeking to offset the current monopoly dominated by the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
