HTC's 'Sailfish' Nexus device leaks from all angles, shows three colours

A new leak has depicted HTC’s ‘Sailfish’ Nexus device from all angles, and depicts a unique design in three different colours.

We’ve previously seen indications of what HTC’s ‘Sailfish’ Nexus device will look like, though a new leak has pictured the alleged device from all angles.
The device, which will purportedly be part of yet another double offering complemented by its lesser seen counterpart – a smartphone referred to as ‘Marlin’ – has been depicted in new renders.

The images depict the smartphone – which is expected to be the cheaper offering among Google’s upcoming Nexus lineup – as bearing a large black rear panel which houses the device’s camera and fingerprint sensor. The remaining half of the smartphone appears to be set between silver, black, or gold colour options.
The images further show that the device will include a 3.5mm headphone jack on its top panel, while a solitary USB Type-C port lies on the device’s bottom edge.
The render further depicts Google’s new Android launcher, which features a slide-out G tab for Now results in addition to a tweaked folder design.
The device sports rounded corners and lateral antenna lines, giving it an appearance – in form, at least – that runs close to the iPhone 4 and 4s of old. It’s back panel, however, is a new addition for the Nexus lineup.

The remaining ‘Marlin’ Nexus handset is yet to be seen out in the wild; it is presently unknown as to which manufacturer will be producing the model. Some reports have favoured Huawei, while others indicated that HTC will be in complete command of this year’s Nexus offerings.
It’s expected that both smartphones will debut at some point in October.
