There goes the surprise: A new Huawei P9 leak courtesy of Oppomart has revealed Huawei’s newest upcoming phone in addition to its Lite and Max variants.
We might have already seen some indication of what Huawei’s newest smartphone will look like on its debut – most significantly, its rather handsome rear panel – but a new Huawei P9 leak has all but revealed what the Chinese giant has in store come its April event.
Oppomart has accidentally unveiled not only the Huawei P9, but further the P9 Lite and P9 Max. Read: Leak offers first actual look at the Huawei P9
Oppomart’s specifications reveal that the P9 will arrive with a 5.2″ screen and QHD display, a Kirin 950 chipset alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, complemented by a 3,000mAh battery.
The P9 will indeed come bearing two rear cameras, armed with 12MP sensors with optical image stabilisation and laser focus, which will be complemented by a 5MP selfie snapper.
The P9 Max instead sports more premium specifications, including a larger 6.2″ QHD screen, with a Kirin 955 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage over its standard forebear. The P9 Max will retain the the same camera configuration, with an 8 megapixel front-facing camera.
Last and perhaps least, the P9 Lite carries instead a Snapdragon 650 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of RAM. A QHD display will be absent, with the device instead opting for a full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internals storage and a 2,500 mAh battery.
The P9 is expected to retail for $499 USD, the Max for $699 USD, and the Lite for $299. Read: Huawei‘s P9 design leaks
While it remains to be seen whether Oppomart’s listing is indeed accurate, we’d posit from the amount of leaked information that the listing more or less accurately depicts what Huawei plan to unveil next month.
