LG & Vodacom team up for a Super Rugby partnership
LG and Vodacom have partnered up for this year’s Super Rugby, and will be the device manufacturer of choice in upcoming giveaways.
LG might just have made several bumper announcements around its new flagship, the G5, at MWC, but news closer to home today reveals that LG and Vodacom have now partnered ahead of the 2016 Super Rugby, with the former being Vodacom’s device of choice for various upcoming Super Rugby competitions. “œWe wish to maintain our hard earned reputation for bringing added value to the lives of consumers and the partnership between LG and Vodacom is an opportunity for us to successfully engage with our consumers and educate them on our mobile communication device offering,“ Deon Prinsloo, the General Manager for LG Mobile South Africa, said in an official statement. LG have provided over 520 devices to Vodacom which will be giving away through various competitions over the course of this years’ Super Rugby.
Further, consumers who purchase, sign up for, or upgrade to an LG device with Vodacom will stand a chance to go on tour to the Super Rugby final, wherever the game is played around the world.
For everyone else, there’s still a chance to win an LG device in the VodacomRugga Megapool and Vodacom Bulls Megapool, in which an LG device will be given away each week.
