Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi 3, which will sport a full metal chassis and 4,100mAh battery for just $105 USD.
Following Xiaomi’s recent launch in South Africa, the firm is quickly becoming known for releasing quality handsets at greatly affordable price points. Now, the firm has launched the Redmi 3, which brings a premium form factor and a large battery at a very affordable price.
The Redmi 3 will carry a 5 inch HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 616 chipset, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage expandable by MicroSD.
The Redmi 3 will further come equipped with a 13 megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2, and a 5 megapixel selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture.
The device is expected to release on January 12th for 699 RMB, which is approximately $105 USD when converted, and is presently only scheduled for release in China.
