Dropbox’s Android app updated with Material Design

Material Design is the new design language that Google is pushing to Android since the launch of Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is prevalent throughout the operating system, and Google have urged developers to follow suit with their various apps to make the aesthetic as homogenous as possible.
Now, Dropbox 3.0.0 has started rolling out to users, bringing with it a material design user interface refresh. The tweaks are mostly aesthetic, with some minor bug fixes thrown into the update as well. Another benefit of Material Design is improved usability.

If your device already has Lollipop installed, you‘ll also be able to access the tinted status bar, thanks to the API changes in versions higher than KitKat.
Most people won‘t be able to access the updated application the Google Play just yet, but it will be rolling out to everyone very soon. Let us know how your experience of Material Design and the new Dropbox app is.
