The long rumored Marvel Samsung Galaxy S6 is set to arrive. As part of the company‘s partnership with Marvel to take Avengers: Age of Ultron to smartphones, they have produced quite the looker in this Iron Man Galaxy S6 edge.
According to Younghee Lee, an Executive Vice President at Samsung – “œThe limited edition Iron Man Galaxy S6 edge embodies the power of the iconic Avenger with a dual-curved edge design and advanced features that will provide Marvel fans with the ultimate entertainment experience.“
The phone will retain the dimensions and physical design of the original S6, except with red and gold everywhere to show off the resemblance to Iron Man. It looks to be that even the phone‘s TouchWiz skin has been given a makeover to match the general look and feel of the new exterior.
The phone includes 64GB of storage, as well as a clear cover and a matching wireless charger to further emphasize the theme. This Iron Man edition is a limited edition run, so you‘ll want to get in on it quickly if you‘re interested. The phone is quite good looking and will have a large collectable appeal, so expect them flying of the shelves.
It‘ll be available in Korea on May 27, moving in June to China and Hong Kong. There‘s no word on European or North American availability and of course nothing has been said about availability in South Africa. Currently Samsung will only release the model in the afore mentioned countries and see how popular they are. So you will have to import one if you are really interested!
