Dual-booting is nothing new and has been happening for year. The last couple of years have seen Windows running on Apple laptops alongside OS X and more recently tablets dual-booting Android and Windows. Reports state that this year we will see the first smartphones running Android and Windows Phone.
The first device will come from Indian manufacturer Karbonn, which will launched in June. The new smartphones will be aimed at “professionals” and “tech-savvy consumers.” But to be honest, it is hard to see the advantages of such a device. This will be running Windows PHONE, not Windows. We can see most people just ending up using one or the other.
