The iPhone has had some of the best cameras around since 2010 with the iPhone 4. If recent rumours are anything to go by, this will remain the case this year with the iPhone 6. At first news floated around that the new camera would not be much of an upgrade on the current model fitted to the 5S, but those stories seem to be blown out of the water now.
We were worried that the latest iteration from Cupertino would sport another 8MP camera, but now Apple‘s Taiwanese supply chain have debunked that theory with word that it will be at least 10MP and perhaps more. Another interesting titbit from the supplier is that it will have a wider aperture at f/1.8, which will reportedly be enhanced with an interchangeable lens.
While this might seem a bit farfetched, you never know what you can and can‘t brush aside from Apple. We also know that Apple has abandoned some plans that were to be on a device at the last minute because of supply problems or production problems, so let‘s see if these innovations come to the new iPhone.
