Apple has recently hired, or rather poached, Adobe’s chief technology officer Kevin Lynch as its new vice president of technology.
Lynch is a particularly interesting choice for Apple for his attack on the company for not supporting Flash on its iOS devices.
In fact, after the launch of the iPad, Steve Jobs himself wrote an essay in which he attacked Flash.
Back in 2009, Lynch was not shy about expressing his contempt.
So much so, he created a video spoofing the TV show Myth Busters by creating his own version called Myth Hackers during which he successfully gets Flash to work on a number of devices except an old telephone and yes, an iPhone. Lynch and his partners in crime then attempt to force Flash onto the Apple device and it’s not a pretty sight.
