Apple identifies Samsung products it wants banned in the U.S.

With the trial stage of the patent suit between Apple and Samsung over, with a decisive victory for Apple, the company has already filed a notice with the court in California specifying which of its rival’s products it wants banned in the United States.
Apple are targeting only eight of the 28 Samsung products that the jury found to have infringed on Apple’s patents and they’re all smartphones. Many of the 28 products are no longer available in the U.S. and so it explains why they have been excluded.
The eight products are as follows:

  • Galaxy S 4G
  • Galaxy S2 (AT&T)
  • Galaxy S2 (Skyrocket)
  • Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile)
  • Galaxy S2 Epic 4G
  • Galaxy S Showcase
  • Droid Charge
  • Galaxy Prevail

Samsung has since responded with the following statement: “We will take all necessary measures to ensure the availability of our products in the U.S. market.”
The injunction hearing for the Apple v. Samsung trial has been scheduled for 20 September 2012.
