If you missed yesterday‘s PS3 discount bonanza (which, admittedly, we also had until 4.55pm), there‘s still hope. Pick “˜n Pay Hypermarkets around the country had been selling 120GB PS3‘s for a criminally low R2299… but predictably, stock soon ran out. Game, however, are commited to beating their competitors‘ prices, so you might still be able to pick one up there, as our trusty drive-like-hell-and-shop correspondent managed to do yesterday. Admittedly, Game isn‘t bound to honour their price beating offer if their competitors are out of stock. But the nice guys at Game Canal Walk didn‘t seem to mind… and they had 16 units left as of yesterday. You’ll need yesterday’s Burger or Beeld newspaper.
UPDATE: We’ve heard from OneLargePrawn that Game in Canal Walk is out of stock. Are there any cheapo PS3’s still to be had???
