The collaboration will first surface early next year through a direct integration between the Flo app and the Google Health app. The feature operates on an opt-in basis, requiring separate, explicit user permission for each data category and intended purpose. Users retain full control to revoke access at any time. Google confirmed that synced Flo data will not be monetized, sold to third parties, or utilized for advertising target profiles.

For participating users, bi-directional synchronization will allow Flo metrics to display alongside broader Google Health tracking data, such as sleep scores, recovery indicators, and daily activity levels. Subscribers to the Google Health Premium tier will also see Flo insights fed directly into Google Health Coach, allowing the Gemini-powered AI service to deliver personalized recommendations tailored to specific phases of the menstrual cycle and broader reproductive health stages.

Beyond software integration, the partnership encompasses joint hardware development. While specific product roadmaps were not disclosed, Google confirmed that future wearable devices will combine Flo’s biological algorithms with Google’s proprietary sensor arrays and health-tracking hardware.

Additionally, the companies plan to co-launch targeted research initiatives aimed at addressing historical data gaps in underserved areas of women’s health.
