Google has integrated Audio Overviews with Gemini’s Deep Research, enabling users to convert in-depth reports into conversational podcasts featuring AI hosts.

Building on the Audio Overviews feature launched in NotebookLM last September, Google has expanded its capabilities, allowing user interaction and bringing it to both free and Advanced Gemini subscribers. This feature now transforms slides and documents into podcast-style conversations.
Audio Overviews are particularly beneficial for Deep Research, Gemini’s web-scanning and report-generating tool. Users can now select “Generate Audio Overview” after a report is created, transforming research findings into an audio format.
