Nintendo has announced a dedicated presentation on April 2nd to unveil further details about the upcoming Switch 2 console. This follows the initial confirmation of the console’s existence last month.

Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa emphasized the importance of “dedicated software” for the Switch 2’s success, hinting at a potential shift towards more exclusive titles for the new console. He also acknowledged the challenges of meeting anticipated demand, citing the production hurdles faced during the initial Switch launch.
The Switch 2 is expected to launch later this year, with Nintendo prioritizing production to meet anticipated demand. Pricing details will be announced during the April 2nd presentation.
