The NBA 2024-25 regular season is well and truly underway, bringing with it (as always) thrilling basketball action to fans across the world. With high-intensity matchups and standout performances from the league’s biggest stars, ESPN Africa is set to broadcast five live games per week together with repeats during regular programming hours. This guarantees ample opportunities for basketball enthusiasts to catch their favourite teams in action.

The excitement will only continue to build as the season progresses towards the playoffs, set to begin on 19 April, leading up to the NBA Finals which start on 5 June. Every game counts as teams push for post-season qualification, making this a crucial period for both players and fans.

Adding to the buzz, ESPN Africa recently hosted us at its first-ever ESPN Baller Café event in Jozi. The gathering brought together fans, media, content creators, and channel affiliates for a special live screening of the San Antonio Spurs vs Indiana Pacers game, which took place as part of NBA Paris Week. The event delivered an electric atmosphere, uniting basketball lovers to celebrate the sport and experience the game on the big screen.
