While specific details regarding battery life and weight for these larger sizes remain undisclosed, Samsung’s existing size 12 and 13 rings feature larger batteries, offering extended usage compared to smaller sizes.
The expanded size range aims to improve accessibility for a wider range of users, particularly those with larger finger sizes. As noted in Victoria Song’s smart ring sizing guide, even a slight size difference can significantly impact comfort and wearability, especially considering factors like finger swelling due to temperature or dietary changes.
In addition to the expanded size options, Samsung is expanding the Galaxy Ring’s global reach. Starting February 7th, the ring will be available in 16 new countries, including Japan, Taiwan, New Zealand, Greece, and South Africa.
This move signifies Samsung’s commitment to expanding the availability of its innovative wearable technology and solidifying its position in the growing smart ring market.
