The AW2725Q boasts a 26-inch 4K display with a 240Hz refresh rate, delivering exceptional visual clarity and responsiveness. This high-performance panel leverages Samsung’s QD-OLED technology, offering 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, 250 nits of typical brightness, and 1,000 nits of peak HDR brightness.

The AW2725Q features DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity, which supports 4K 240Hz with potential for Display Stream Compression (DSC). Two HDMI 2.1 ports offer 4K 240Hz with HDR, VRR, ALLM, and eARC support. While lacking USB-C video input, the monitor includes a USB-A hub and a single USB-C port with 15W charging.

To address potential burn-in concerns, the AW2725Q incorporates several measures, including a graphite sheet between the panel layers and AI-based technology to actively monitor and adjust on-screen images.

The Alienware AW2725Q is scheduled for release in March 2025, priced at $900 USD or $1,230 CAD. This competitive pricing and the anticipated early availability give Alienware a potential edge over competitors, some of whom faced delays in bringing their 32-inch QD-OLED monitors to market.

The AW2725Q marks a significant addition to Alienware’s gaming monitor lineup, offering a premium 4K 240Hz gaming experience in a more compact and potentially more accessible package. Its focus on performance, combined with innovative burn-in mitigation technologies, positions it as a strong contender in the high-end gaming monitor market.
